Working Principle

The marine wiper is driven by a DC / AC reduction motor. The motor converts rotary motion into reciprocating swing motion via worm gear reduction and linkage mechanism. The linkage drives the stainless wiper arm and blade to swing back and forth across the navigation window, removing rainwater, seawater splashes and fog. Built-in self-parking switch ensures the blade stops at the designated safe position instead of random position after power cut. Two-speed winding inside the motor realizes adjustable wiping frequency.

Maintenance

1. Daily check: inspect rubber blade for crack, hardening or wear; check wiring plug for corrosion and loose
    contact.

2. Regular cleaning: flush stainless linkage and arm with fresh water after sailing in seawater area to reduce salt
    crystal accumulation.

3. Lubrication: add anti-corrosion grease on linkage pivot joints every 3~6 months, avoid jamming.

4. Do not run the wiper on dry glass for long time; spray fresh water before operation to reduce blade abrasion.

5. Check motor sealing cover regularly; stop use immediately if water ingress found.

6. In long-term mooring: park wiper blade away from direct sunlight to slow rubber aging.

Q1: What is the difference between E model and I model?

A：E stands for AC (alternating current) version, I stands for DC (direct current) version. Most small boats/yachts use DC 12V/24V I series; E AC series is widely used on large cargo ships and vessels with AC power supply.

Q2: Can I customize the wiper blade length and sweep angle?

A：Yes. We support custom blade length and adjustable sweep angle according to your window size. Please provide window width and mounting space.

Q3: Is this wiper suitable for saltwater environment?

A：Yes. Stainless steel linkage and marine rubber blade are salt-spray resistant. Suggest fresh water rinse after salt water sailing for longer service life. 

Q4: Does the kit include control switch?

A：Standard package does NOT include wiper control switch. We can supply matching marine wiper switch as extra accessory if needed. 

Q5: What to do if wiper stuck during operation?

A：Cut off power immediately. Check if linkage is blocked by foreign objects, or rubber stuck under dry friction. Do not force continuous power supply, which may burn the motor. 

Q6: What is the warranty term?

A：12 months warranty against manufacturing defect (exclude consumables like rubber blade, damage from wrong installation, dry burning, seawater corrosion neglect).
